This Steinway & Sons model D, 9' concert grand, was built in 1900 and restored in 1981. It was refinished and had new original Steinway key set, legs, lyre, music desk, top lid and brass hardware installed. We also installed a new soundboard, pinblock, strings, damper felts and action parts. Now back on our showroom floor after many years of love in the home of a musician, it was used for recording music as well. This has been newly reconditioned to Reeder Pianos high standards; which includes cleaning, regulation, voicing and tuning, as well as any case repairs needed. A 2-year mechanical warranty is included with purchase.
Steinway & Sons was established in Manhattan in New York in 1853 by Heinrich Steinweg, a German piano maker who immigrated from Germany in 1850. The company has grown to be one of the most prominent piano manufacturing companies today, has won numerous awards, and is perhaps the most recognized name in the world of pianos today.
