45" Oak Institutional Studio Upright- Serial #508696 - 1985
Built in Indiana in 1985, this model 1500 institutional upright is a great size and of good quality. It was originally purchased by a church and used in one of their classrooms. This piano is very clean and in great shape.
This piano has been inspected and found to be in excellent condition. It will be a wonderful piano for the discerning pianist.
The tuning pins are tight, there are no cracks in the soundboard or bridges, and the hammers have a lot of life left. Bench included. It has been reconditioned which included:

The Charles Walter piano is a relatively new instrument in the world of pianos, with the company beginning in 1975 with the introduction of a 43" upright. The company prides itself on quality instruments, and produces mostly consoles and mid-sized grands that are manufactured in the USA and inspected personally by a Walter family member. The piano company remains in the hands of the Walter family, and its factory is located in Indiana.
