5'6" Mahogany Satin Grand - Serial #80395 - 1936
This 1936 mahogany satin Baldwin R grand piano was restored by RPI in the 1990s and received a new soundboard, pinblock, strings, bridge-caps and hammers. The action parts were reconditioned with all new felts and leather. At some point since then, the case has been refinished in a red mahogany satin finish.
An artist bench is included. This piano has been reconditioned, which included:

The retail price of a new 5'5" Baldwin grand piano is $35,000.00. (Baldwin piano are now made in Asia, and do not have a 5'6" model)
Baldwin Piano History
Dwight Hamilton Baldwin began to manufacture pianos in 1889 and his company grew to be the largest piano manufacturing company in the United States. The Baldwin piano has made a significant impact in the piano world, and has been a favorite of many composers and musicians.
The Baldwin piano was made in the USA until 2008, when production was moved to China. The company is now owned by the Gibson Guitar company, and continues to produce high quality instruments that will last a lifetime.
